I've been extremely fortunate and blessed with good vision. This isn't to say the future will be so bright, or clear. However, my husband can not say the same and has worn glasses since he was a preteen. I never understood the plight of having blurry vision until our honeymoon. We had the pleasure of getting away for a week to a very beautiful mountain scene location. Half way into our honeymoon, my husband's glasses were stepped on, crushed to disrepair. It may have been my doing but, I will never admit it. Okay, I did it but I was very apologetic, especially after seeing the way he suffered the rest of our trip. We were at one of the most beautiful locations, yet he could not fully enjoy the view. We would dine out at fancy restaurants, yet he could not read the menu. The list of his limitations went on and on. I could see the frustration in his eyes and how his blurry vision was ruining our honeymoon. Luckily, we returned home and he was able to get a replacement pair immediately. Some individuals are not so lucky. Which is why I fully support OneSight's mission to help those in need of glasses.
